Frost Heaves Add Benson Callier, Josh Dollard To Lineup

Prior to their upcoming road game against the Puerto Rico Capitanes, the Vermont Frost Heaves have signed forward Benson Callier and forward Josh Dollard. To make room for Callier and Dollard on the roster, the Frost Heaves have released D'Lancey Carter, and placed Brandon Cotton on the Injured Reserve list.

Benson Callier returns to the Frost Heaves for a second PBL season. Last year, Callier averaged 16.6 points per game for Vermont, and holds the team's record for most points scored in a Frost Heaves game (40), as well as most field goals made in a single game (19). He was also a member of both the 2009 PBL All-Playoff Team, and was also named to the All-League Team (second team).

This will be Josh Dollard's first professional basketball team; he previously his collegiate basketball both at Auburn University, and then at spent his senior season at South Carolina-Aiken (D-II). While at SC-Aiken, Dollard helped the Pacers reach the Round of 16 in the 2009 NCAA Division II Men's Basketball Tournament.
