Friendly Faces Return to Sharks Front Office

Wilmington, NC - The Wilmington Sharks are pleased to announce that two former interns will be returning to the Wilmington Sharks organization. Courtney Wright takes over as Assistant General Manager for the 2015 season, and Carson Bowen returns as the Director of Media Relations and play-by-play broadcaster for the Sharks.
"The whole Sharks organization could not be happier about Courtney and Carson returning", said Sharks General Manager Pat Hutchins.
Wright, a native of Fairfax Station, Va., has greatly contributed to the Sharks organization the past two seasons as an intern, and is thrilled to return to Wilmington. "Wilmington has always felt like home to me. I'm beyond blessed to have the opportunity to do what I love in a city that means so much to me" says Wright.
Courtney holds a Sport and Recreation Management degree from James Madison University, and has served as the Head Manager of JMU Varsity Baseball since 2011.
"Courtney has been an intern for the past two seasons and truly has been a blessing", said Hutchins. "Her passion, energy, and love for baseball and the city of Wilmington are obvious", adds Hutchins.
Carson Bowen, serving as the team's play-by-play broadcaster and Director of Media Relations, holds Marketing and Communication Studies degrees from UNC-Wilmington. "I had a blast being with the Sharks last summer. Pat gave us all creative freedom and an environment to grow and make a difference. I'm looking forward to another exciting summer with our fans and players", says Bowen.
"Carson quickly earned a reputation of being a tireless worker with a very creative mind", says Hutchins. "We are so glad he decided to return and handle our broadcasts this summer, as well as coming up with some fun things for the fans that follow our website, Facebook, and Twitter pages."
Wright and Bowen comprise a small front office staff, and look forward to being joined by summer employees.
