ERIE, PA - (3/18/09) The Copper Coin Lounge in Edinboro will be hosting the Erie RiverRats along with the ErieSistable dance team for a Friday Night Football Kick-Off Party, Friday, March 20th. Members of the 2009 ErieSistables dance team and the 2009 Erie RiverRats football team will join fans to watch games and highlights from the 2008 RiverRat season and enjoy the kick-off party which will include food and drink specials. The Rats and ErieSistables will be available for a "Meet and Greet" from 8pm to 10pm.
The Copper Coin Lounge, 205 Waterford Street will offer wing, food and drink specials as well as contests for fans to win tickets to the season opener on March 28th. The event will run from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. and will include current RiverRat players from Edinboro including Seth Fragale, Dave Smith, Cyrus Kersey and Taureen Valentine. Come join the fun and meet the 2009 RiverRats and ErieSistables. l
The Erie RiverRats' home opener is scheduled for March 28th at 7 p.m. at the Tullio Arena versus the DC Armor.
