
Fremont Street Experience hosts ArenaBowl XIX FanFest June 10-11

Las Vegas, NV (June 7, 2005) â Over a two-day period Arena Football fans and Las Vegas visitors can experience a totally free ArenaBowl XIX FanFest event at the Fremont Street Experience in the heart of downtown Vegas. Interactive exhibits will allow visitors to test their throwing skills, have their faces painted, get player autographs, watch cheerleader dance routines and enjoy a great free concert.
The festivities begin Friday, June 10 at 3p.m. with the day ending in a free performance from Southern music great, The Marshall Tucker Band. With a litany of hits such as "Can't You See" and "Take The Highway," the multi-platinum and multi-gold record band will play absolutely free in a show that will rock historic Fremont Street until the end of the day's events at 11 p.m.
The FanFest continues at the Fremont Street Experience Saturday, June 11 with the interactive exhibits and activities open from 11a.m. to 11p.m. ArenaBowl XIX will be contested Sunday, June 12 at the Thomas & Mack Center in a game between the Colorado Crush and the Georgia Force.
The ArenaBowl XIX FanFest and The Marshall Tucker Band concert are free and open to the public. Ample parking is available at the Fremont Street Experience parking garage located on the corner of 4th and Carson Streets or at any of the 10 legendary casinos lining Fremont Street. In addition, the Arena Football League will provide complimentary transportation from the MGM Grand (headquarter hotel) to the Fremont Street Experience during the Fanfest hours.
