ArenaBowl XIX injury report
June 8, 2005 - Arena Football League (1987-2008) (AFL I) News Release
LAS VEGAS â Only two times in AFL history has a head coach led his team to the best regular season record, earned Coach of the Year honors and won the ArenaBowl in the same season. Georgia Force Head Coach DOUG PLANK can become the third coach to pull off the trifecta when the Force (13-5) and Colorado Crush (12-6) square off in ArenaBowl XIX Las Vegas this Sunday at 3 p.m. ET on NBC.
Plank will face Crush Head Coach MIKE DAILEY, who led Albany to victory in ArenaBowl XIII after posting the best regular season record and earning Coach of the Year honors. DARREN ARBET (2002, San Jose) is the only other coach to have accomplished the feat. TIM MARCUM (1987, Denver) and MICHAEL TRIGG (2001, Grand Rapids) both won the ArenaBowl and Coach of the Year in the same season and tied for the best regular season record.
