
Freedom sign Harding Grad

The Freedom announced today the signing of Jamarkus Gorman. A 6'5" and 305 lb. offensive lineman from Indiana University, Gorman is a Fort Wayne native and graduate of Harding High School. While at IU, he made starts against Illinois, Northwestern, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota and Purdue. During his senior year, he was part of the offensive line that helped to lead IU to two big wins over Wisconsin and Northwestern. He also saw some playing time on special teams during his junior and senior seasons. Gorman was a letter winner in 1999 and 2001.
While at Harding High School, Gorman was a first-team all-state selection, preseason All-American pick and made the Bloomington Herald Times Top 33 all-state team in 1997.
The Freedom will take on the Sioux City Bandits this Saturday, May 7th at the Coliseum. This game features the last two unbeaten teams in the UIF. Kick off is set for 7:30PM. Tickets can be purchased at the Coliseum Ticket Office or through Ticketmaster.
