SALEM, VA. - The Salem Avalanche will host its third annual Fan Fest Saturday, April 1st from 10AM - 2PM at Salem Memorial Baseball Stadium. The free event for all fans will include free food, ballpark tours, and a free drawing to win two season tickets or a night in a luxury suite.
"The Fan Fest is our way of opening our facility up to the community for a fun-filled event just prior to opening day," Avalanche Special Events / Merchandise Manager Jessica Norden said.
Other events include free face-painting by Face Painting Fantasy who can be viewed online at www.facepaintingfantasy.com. Fan Fest 2006 will also feature a sidewalk sale on Avalanche Merchandise, the Speed Pitch, and on-field games to win prizes.
2006 Avalanche tickets will be available during Fan Fest in the box office for all games including the HCA Virginia Carolina/California League All Star Game presented by Lewis Gale Medical Center.
