
Francis Cabrera joins Bees

SALT LAKE CITY (July 26, 2009) - The Salt Lake Bees announced today that the club has recalled right-handed pitcher Francis Cabrera from Rookie League Orem.
Cabrera, 23, has appeared in nine games for the Orem Owlz in 2009, owning a 2-0 record with a 2.95 ERA with 14 strikeouts. The Dominican Republic native originally signed with the Angels as a non-drafted free agent on June 11, 2005. His first appearance with the Bees will be his Triple-A debut.
The Salt Lake Bees continue a four-game homestand against the Portland Beavers today with a doubleheader beginning at 2:05 p.m. at Spring Mobile Ballpark
