Regina Pats News Release
Regina SK ---- This afternoon the Regina Pats announced that seventeen-year-old defenceman Spencer Fraipont has been reassigned to the Langley Hornets of the BCJHL.
"Spencer has progressed much faster than we had envisioned and will not require surgery on his back. The likelihood that he will return to action at some point this year looks promising and therefore we wanted to put him in an environment where he will get lots of ice-time and continue his development," commented Pats GM Brent Parker
Fraipont, a 6'3" 207lb defenceman from Kelowna, BC, appeared in three games with the Pats this season prior to suffering a back injury in October.
