Fox Sports Southwest to Webcast Skeeters Playoffs at Constellation Field Tonight

SUGAR LAND, TX - The 2013 Freedom Division Champion Sugar Land Skeeters announced today their partnership with Fox Sports Southwest for an exclusive webcast of the Atlantic League Division Series Opener tonight at Constellation Field. The record-setting Skeeters will face off against the Somerset Patriots, with first pitch scheduled for 7:05 p.m.

Ira Liebman, radio voice of the Sugar Land Skeeters, will webcast the game alongside former Major League broadcaster and Sugar Land resident Brett Dolan. Liebman brings more than a decade of minor league baseball experience to the booth, while Dolan spent seven seasons broadcasting with the Houston Astros following 12-plus years in minor league baseball.

The web stream may be found via Fox Sports Southwest's home page (www.FOXSportsSouthwest.com). The webcast is set to include pre and postgame shows, featuring interviews and inside information about the Skeeters' remarkable second season. Viewers will also have a real-time look at the sights and sounds of the ballpark, including live streams of interactive, in-game promotions such as mascot races, build-a-burger and more.

This season, the Skeeters set a new Atlantic League record for wins in a single season by posting a 95-45 overall record. The team clinched both the First Half and Second Half Freedom Division titles for the first time in franchise history and once again led the league in home attendance, welcoming 382,059 fans over 69 home openings.
