Chattanooga Lookouts News Release
Lookouts reliever Connor Curlis slammed the door on the Blue Wahoos with the bases loaded to clinch the team's 6-3 win.
Allan Cerda set the tone in the second inning with a lead-off double. Brian Rey followed that up with an RBI double to give the team the lead. A throwing error later in the inning brought home two more runs and Christian Encarnacion-Strand hit a single to drive home the fourth run.
Pensacola whittled the lead down to one, but Chattanooga struck back in the bottom of the seventh on a De La Cruz triple and an Encarnacion-Strand double.
In the bottom of the ninth, the Blue Wahoos loaded the bases. Connor Curlis took over for Ricky Salinas and struck out two straight batters before getting J.D. Osborne to fly out to end the game.
Tomorrow is the final game of the series at 2:15 p.m.
