LOWELL, MASS. - The Lowell Spinners, Class-A Affiliate of the Boston Red Sox, will welcome a pair of Boston Sports Champions for "A Day of Champions" Sunday, June 24 at LeLacheur Park when 2004 World Series Hero Keith Foulke and 2011 Stanley Cup Champion Dennis Seidenberg come to Lowell.

The athletes will be available to Spinners fans for autographs, photos and more, all free of charge thanks to Electrical Wholesalers.

Foulke, who is no stranger to LeLacheur Park having rehabbed with the Spinners in 2005 and 2006, was the bullpen workhorse for the Red Sox throughout the 2004 playoffs, recording the final out of the Red Sox first World Series victory in 86 years.

"Keith was the consummate professional when he rehabbed with the team in Lowell and we are thrilled to welcome him back to Lowell," said Spinners President Tim Bawmann. "Without Keith Foulke in 2004 there is no World Series title and as Red Sox fans we are forever grateful."

Seidenberg combined with Zdeno Chara to form a shutdown defensive pairing to lead the Bruins to a Stanley Cup victory in 2011. The defenseman previously visited LeLacheur Park in 2011, playing in Milan Lucic's Celebrity Rock 'n Jock Softball Game.

"If there's one thing we know, it is that after the Red Sox, our fans love the Bruins," said Bawmann. "Dennis was such a valuable contributor to the Stanley Cup Champion squad and we are thrilled to offer our fans a chance to meet him."

Tickets to the game and all 2012 Spinners home games are on sale now. Ticket information is available online at www.LowellSpinners.com or by phone at (978) 459-1702.
