Forward Long Tan Named to USL Team of the Week

PEORIA, Ariz. - The United Soccer League announced today that Arizona United Soccer Club forward Long Tan has been named to the USL Team of the Week. Tan received the honors for his game-winning goal in Arizona United's 2-1 win over Saint Louis FC last Saturday. Tan also finished second place in voting for player of the week.
Tan becomes the second Arizona United player this season to receive Team of the Week honors. Midfielder Luke Rooney was named to the team of the week on April 19 and midfielder Sam Garza received honorable mention honors the week of May 9.
Long Tan and his teammates return to league play tomorrow, June 22, at Rio Grande Valley FC. Fans can head to the team's official watch party at the Rose and Crown Pub in downtown Phoenix (628 E Adams Street) at 5:30 P.M.
Arizona United returns home to Peoria Sports Complex on Saturday, June 25, to take on Sacramento Republic FC. That match kicks off at 7:30 P.M. and tickets can be purchased at www.ArizonaUnited.com.
