
Forward Corey Bellamy Retires from Hockey

SOUTHAVEN, Miss. - Mississippi RiverKings Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Derek Landmesser announced today that forward Corey Bellamy has retired from hockey.
Bellamy, 26, appeared in 21 games with the RiverKings this season and amassed 70 penalty minutes while tallying one assist. The 6-foot-1, 185-pound native of Springfield, Massachusetts appeared in 204 career professional games over five seasons and collected 1,089 penalty minutes.
The RiverKings return to Concorde Career College Ice at the Landers Center on Friday, January 15 as they look to Pack the House for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, presented by Belhaven University. All tickets are discounted $5 anywhere in the building and are available at the Landers Center box office or on Ticketmaster.
