The Fort Worth Cats rallied from an early 3-0 deficit to defeat the St. Joe Blacksnakes in front of a near capacity school day crowd at Phil Welch Stadium of 3,468. St. Joe would get that early 3-0 lead in the second inning on RBI singles by 3B Denver Fitch and C Jefferson Infante, and a sacrifice fly by SS Jimmy Mojica. Fort Worth cut the lead in the fourth inning to 3-1 on a RBI double by RF Drew Rogers. The Cats took the lead for good with four runs in the sixth inning and two more runs in the seventh inning. LF Tony Mota, CF Carlos Adolfo, and 2B David Keesee each had two hits on the day for the Cats. Joel Kirsten pitched four shutout innings in relief to pick up the save for Fort Worth.
