Jackson Senators News Release
Jackson, MS; â In game two of the four game series, the Fort Worth Cats evened up the series with a 13-2 thumping of the Jackson Senators. Fort Worth got off to a good start after a 3-run homerun by Jason Radwan in the 3rd inning. Eventually the Cats established a 6-1 lead, but the Senators cut into it with a solo smash over the center field wall in the 6th. The homerun for Bost was an absolute no doubter into the deepest part of the park, and was probably the longest homer of the year. Action went into the 8th with the score 6-2, but that's when the bottom fell out for the Senators. Jackson gave up 7 runs on only 3 hits in the inning. Two errors, 3 walks, and 1 hit batsmen contributed big time to the huge Cat inning. Obviously the Sens wouldn't be able to overcome the 11 run lead and bowed out in the 8th and 9th. Tomorrow the Senators will have Ryan Creek facing Shad Williams of the Cats.
Next home game: Sunday, June 13th vs. Fort Worth Cats â 150' Luvel Dairy Chocolate Sunday
