SEASON SERIES: The season series between Ft. Worth and Austin has been dramatically one sided, as the Ice Bats have beaten the Brahmas in seven of their eight previous meetings this year. The Bats have defeated the Brahmas all four times they have played this season in Austin, and three of the four times that they have met here in Ft. Worth. The Brahmas only victory of the season over Austin came on Friday, March 1st by a 3-1 score. The Bats bounced back from that loss with a 4-0 shutout win over the Brahmas last Saturday night here in Ft. Worth the last time that these two teams played.

FORT WORTH NOTES: The Brahmas are playing for much more tonight then two points when they take on the Austin Ice Bats at the Ft. Worth Convention Center. A win tonight by the Brahmas would guarantee them a spot in the CHL playoffs. Ft. Worth is currently holding down the fourth and final playoff spot in the Northern Conference, three points ahead of fifth place Tulsa.The Brahmas are coming off a 6-5 loss last night on home ice against Corpus Christi.Center Joe Van Volsen had two points last night (1G/1A) to climb to fifteenth overall in the CHL in points with 66 (23G/43A).Chad Woollard will need to continue his current hot streak for the Brahmas to succeed. Woollard has 8 goals and 7 assists in his last ten games for the Brahmas.

AUSTIN NOTES: The high flying Ice Bats have the third most points in the CHL with 89.Austin clinched the Southeast Division title and second overall playoff spot in the South with a 6-5 OT win last night over San Antonio.Three Austin players-Brett Seguin, Dan Price, and Gerald Tallaire-are in the top four in the CHL in scoring. Seguin leads the league with 93 points (24G/69A), Price is third with 89 points (42G/47A) and Tallaire, the reigning CHL Player of the Week, is fourth with 84 points (30G/54A).Netminder Bryan McMullen is second in the CHL in wins with 30.

NEXT UP FOR THE BRAHMAS: The Brahmas will wrap up their regular season on the road tomorrow afternoon when they take on the Corpus Christi IceRays at 3:05 PM. Should Ft.
