Fort Wayne's Kevin Reiter Named Oakley CHL Goaltender of the Week

TEMPE, AZ (February 15, 2011) -The Central Hockey League announced today that Fort Wayne's Kevin Reiter has been named the Oakley Central Hockey League Goaltender of the Week for the period ending February 13, 2011.

Reiter went 3-0 on the week finishing the weekend with back-to-back shutouts beating Dayton and Evansville. The Pittsburgh native started the week with a 21 save effort in a 7-1 victory over Bloomington and then found perfection on Saturday in a 2-0 victory at Dayton (20 saves) and then was perfect again making 28 saves in Sunday in a 2-0 win over Evansville. Reiter has shutout the opponent for the last 121:11 and last week stopped 69 of 70 shots (.986 save percentage).

On the season, the 5-10, 175-pound netminder is 8-8-1 with a 2.42 goals against average and a .910 save percentage winning each of his last five decisions and going 7-2-0 in his last nine decisions.
