In Week 3 Ft. Wayne continued their dominance while Sioux City continued to struggle. Ft. Wayne scored 66 points in week 3 behind the offensive force of Rocky Harvey. Harvey set a UIF rushing record with 171 yards. Harvey also added 4 TD's on the ground in Week 3. Ft. Wayne's offense is the 4th highest scoring in the UIF (38.6) and the FT. Wayne defense is allowing the 2nd least amount of points (26.0). After losing a heartbreaker to Omaha in Week 2, Sioux City suffered a 28-6 loss at the hands of the Sioux Falls Storm in Week 3. In fact, Sioux Falls' defense scored more points than Sioux City's offense (8-6). Sioux City is allowing the 4th least amount of points in the UIF (30.0) and allowing the least yards per game in the UIF (154.3). Ft. Wayne defeated Sioux City 28-23 in Week 1.
