Tampa Bay Rowdies News Release
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - Due to deteriorating field conditions and ongoing weather concerns in the Tampa Bay area, tonight's match against the Fort Lauderdale Strikers has been postponed to Wednesday, October 8. Our primary concern is for the safety of players and fans. Therefore, in consultation with North American Soccer League officials, Fort Lauderdale Strikers officials and the match referees, it was determined that the match could not be held safely Saturday night. The match is tentatively scheduled to be made up Wednesday, Oct. 8.
We thank those fans in attendance for their patience while the proper protocols were followed. Those holding tickets to the Sept. 27 match will automatically receive tickets to the Oct. 8 makeup date. Please retain your ticket stubs and watch RowdiesSoccer.com for information about receiving your ticket to the Oct. 8 match.
