
Fort Lauderdale CF to Host Toronto FC II on Saturday

Fort Lauderdale CF will once again host Toronto FC II at DRV PNK Stadium this Saturday, June 26 at 7:30 p.m. ET. The match will air live on ESPN+.
"We're excited to play Toronto again. I think playing the same opponent three times in a row has its challenges, but I think the games have been really good," said head coach Darren Powell. "We want to get off to a good start and really focus in the key moments of the game."
Fort Lauderdale will enter the match following its 2-1 loss on the road against Toronto in its last match. In that match, Josh Penn scored his first goal of the season for Fort Lauderdale.
Saturday's meeting between the sides will mark the third consecutive match against Toronto FC II for Fort Lauderdale, with one draw and one loss thus far.
In 2021, Fort Lauderdale has compiled a record of four wins, two draws and six losses while Toronto has recorded three wins, four draws and three losses.
