1. Red Wolves look to top the USL League One standings with a win

After dropping their first match of the season in Statesboro a couple weeks ago, the Red Wolves have once again found their form and with some style. Juan Galindrez has proven he can lead the line with a striker's poise and has delivered late game winners the last two matches out.

The super sub combination of Juan Galindrez and Marky Hernandez combined for three goals and an assist last time at CHI Memorial Stadium, much to the satisfaction of manager Jimmy Obleda. Now the Red Wolves find themselves in a great position having only played seven games compared to the nine played by both clubs above and could move into first place with three points over Greenville and a Union Omaha loss.

For the club to continue their high-flying form, the Red Wolves must continue to emphasize making their home pitch a fortress. Obleda's side has picked up a perfect nine points from three matches, and their late game heroics have served to shore up slow starts.

2. Visiting Greenville Triumph look to spoil the party

John Harkes and the Triumph travel to Chattanooga looking to find the blistering form that propelled them at the start of the season. After starting the season unbeaten in five, picking up 13 points from a possible 15, a drop-off has seen the club drop two of their last four games picking up only four points.

A pair of goals saved a point for the Triumph against Forward Madison last time out after falling to a 2-0 deficit, and the match before they fell victim to high flying Tormenta who continues to collect scalps from the league's best clubs. However, the Triumph have leaned on Marios Lomis up top who has scored eight of the side's 14 goals and leads the way in the race for the USL League One Golden Boot.

Greenville have found success on both ends of the pitch in the early campaign, currently finding themselves second in the league in goal scoring and tied for second in the league with three clean sheets from nine matches. The stiff battle between one of the best strikers in the league and one of the most solid defenses in the league for Chattanooga will test both sides' strengths and could make for one of the most exciting matches so far in the 2021 USL League One Campaign.

3. Key Players to continue making a difference for the Red Wolves

The Red Wolves have found strength in team unity and resilience this season, aptly earning their Cardiac Red Wolves nickname week after week. However, star power has risen for Obleda's side and continue to be part of the 2021 title hunt. Ricky Ruiz has been central to many of the blistering attacking and counter attacking moves and looks to continue to solidify himself as one of the most talented and versatile playmakers in USL League One.

Juan Galindrez as well looks to continue his blistering form in front of goal, scoring four goals in his last four appearances. As he continues to serve the role of super sub for Jimmy Obleda, a talented and cohesive backline comprising brilliant individual talent looks to keep standing out. Jonathan Ricketts has once again proven his worth to the side so far this campaign, as the fan favorite and homegrown talent has been the backline's anchor and also managed to snag his first goal of his USL League One career a few weeks back in Tucson.

And finally, a fantastic midfield that makes an argument for best in the league has only gotten more talented with the addition of former MLS Superdraft selection Rey Ortíz. He has gelled instantly and with purpose with his midfield partners Jose Carrera-García and Jimmie Villalobos, who have shown all season their knack of running games with ease.

As the Red Wolves look to build on their early season success, the true team cohesion found within individual brilliance has made the difference. Now, the home side looks to top the USL League One standings for the first time this campaign, a place that everyone at the club will fight hard to keep.

The Red Wolves prepare for the match of the early campaign Saturday, June 26th at 7 PM EST as defending champions Greenville Triumph battle it out for the top spot in USL League One.
