Former USMNT Player and National Soccer Personality Jimmy Conrad to Join Republic FC Broadcast for April 22 Match

SACRAMENTO, Calif. - Republic FC fans are in for a special treat this weekend, when U.S. Soccer legend Jimmy Conrad joins the club's matchday broadcast. Along with Play-by-Play Broadcaster Rob McAllister, Conrad will be on the call as the Indomitable Club hosts Detroit City FC at Heart Health Park for the first time on Saturday, April 22.

In addition to serving as the Technical Director for USL League Two side San Francisco Glens, Conrad has built an extensive and eccentric broadcasting career. Since retiring from his playing career in 2011 - a 6-time MLS All-star, 4-time Best XI, and 5-time U.S. National team player - he has become a leading soccer media personality.

Conrad, who has declared himself "your favorite former U.S. Men's National Team player" currently manages and produces content for his own YouTube channel, The Jimmy Conrad Show. He is also a host on CBS Sports' Golazo Network, a first-of-its-kind free, 24-hour digital network offering American fans coverage of all the top domestic and international soccer competitions across the world. He was also a part of FOX sports' Emmy-nominated coverage of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

Kickoff from Heart Health Park is set for 7:00 p.m. and tickets are available at SacRepublicFC.com/tickets. Fans watching from home can catch all the action in English and Spanish on FOX40, Antenna TV 40.2, FOX40.com, and the FOX40 News mobile app, as well as streaming on ESPN+.
