Former First Round Draft Pick Returns to Skyforce

Sioux Falls, S.D. (Nov. 21, 2010) - The Sioux Falls Skyforce announced today the acquisition of forward Raymond Sykes. To make room for him on the roster the team waived forward JR Inman. Sykes is expected to be in uniform for today's season opener on the road against the Fort Wayne Mad Ants at 4 p.m. CT. The active roster now stands at 10 players.

Sykes participated in training camp with the Portland Trail Blazers this past fall after averaging 10.5 points and 4.7 rebounds while shooting 58.3 percent (194-of-333) from the field in 47 games (20 starts) with the Skyforce last season. The 6-7, 225-pound forward was selected by the Skyforce in the first round (13th overall) of the 2009 NBA Development League Draft following a successful career at Clemson University.

Season tickets and 12-ticket flex packs for the 2010-11 season are on sale. Discounts and benefits are also available for groups of 10 or more. The home opener is set for Saturday, Nov. 27 against the rival Dakota Wizards. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. at the Sioux Falls Arena.
