Former Amarillo Bulls Also Announce NCAA College Commitments

AMARILLO, TX - Four more former Amarillo Bulls players recently announced their NCAA College Commitments.

Charlie Combs, who played for the Wenatchee Wild, of the British Columbia Junior Hockey League, will play hockey for Bemidji State University (WCHL, DivisionI) this fall. Combs a native of St. Louis Missouri played for the Bulls during the 2014-15 season where he picked up 21 goals and 14 assists for 35 points in 56 games. In the BCHL, Combs had 65 goals and 46 assists for 112 points in 86 games for the Wild.

Forward Coale Norris who was a member of the Amarillo Bulls during the 2015-16 season recently announced his NCAA College Commitment to Ferris State University for the 2018-19 season. Norris, a native of Oxford Michigan, had 10 goals and 4 assists for 14 points 20 games for the Bulls. He spent this past season with the Youngstown Phantoms of the USHL where he had 15 goals and 15 assists for 30 points in 60 games.

Former Bulls tender Bobby Kaiser (2014-15) has committed to UMASS-Amherst for this fall which is the same school that George Mika will go to. Kaiser played in 66 games for the Muskegon Lumberjacks of the USHL where he had one goal and two assists for three points.

Forward Nick Klishko who was a member of the Bulls for a short time this past season has will play at the University of Wisconsin Superior (WIAC, Division III) this fall. Klishko, a native of San Diego California was acquired by the Bulls from the Odessa Jackalopes in late December when the team had several injuries. Klishko had no goals in seven games for the bulls but later moved on to the North Iowa Bulls in the NA3HL where he had 12 points in 11 games.

Charlie Combs (Bemidji State), Coale Norris (Ferris State), Bobby Kaiser (UMASS-Amherst) and Nick Klishko (Wisconsin-Superior) join Matt Nehls (Augsburg), George Mika (UMASS-Amherst), Jeff Solow (Merrimack College), Charlie Singerhouse (University of Wisconsin River Falls), Steven Ipri (Mercyhurst), Brandon Bussi (St. Lawrence) as either current for former Amarillo Bulls to announce their NCAA College Commitments.

Hockey returns to the Budweiser Bull Pen in the Amarillo Civic Center this September for the 8th Season of the Amarillo Bulls in the North American Hockey League.
