On the night of the 200th match in Canadian Premier League history, two-time Champions Forge FC proved more opportune and stole the points in a 1-0 win over the hometown Atlético Ottawa at TD Place Wednesday evning.
MATCH NOTES
Atlético Ottawa Rafael Nunez was lively and created a number of promising chances for his side, finishing the match with 3 shots and an 82,6% passing accuracy.
Alberto Soto was the other creator for the Atléti with 4 bright chances. He totalled over 70 touches in the 90 minutes.
Young legs were called upon in the final stretch of the match, with local players Antoine Coupland and Jaeden Mercure both earning some field time to close out the night (83').
