BOBBLE HEAD NIGHT:

The game between the Force and the Harrisburg Heat on Friday, January 10th is Otto Orf Bobble Head giveaway night. The first 2,500 fans 14 & under receive a Force Bobble Head Doll courtesy of University Hospitals.

STREAK KEEPS GOING:

Cleveland forward Hector Marinaro extended his scoring streak to 55 straight games and 84 of the last 85 games, as he did not play last Saturday. He has also tallied a point in 193 of the last 196 games.

Marinaro extended his streak by posting season-high four assists on Friday night versus Dallas and then followed it up with an assist on Saturday at Baltimore.

LINE DUTY:

In the last five games, the first two lines of the Cleveland Force offense have been clicking.

Hector Marinaro and Giuliano Oliviero have posted a combined total of 23 points. Oliviero has netted 14 points while Marinaro, who has only played in four games, has recorded nine points.

Lee Edgerton and Chris Stathopoulos have tallied a combined 16 points as Stathopoulos has notched 12 points to pace the two.

PLAYERS OF THE MONTH:

Force Forwards Giuliano Oliviero and Chris Stathopoulos were selected as the Zarzour Nissan November and December Players of the Month. Oliviero received the November honor at halftime of the December 28th game while Stathopoulos received the December award on Friday night.

During November, In November, Oliviero posted seven goals and added five assists for a total of 20 points. In addition, Giuliano had three blocks. He tallied season-high seven points on November 22nd. Oliviero recorded his 200th career assist on November 16th. He reached the milestone on his first of season-high three assists. Giuliano was named Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL) Offensive Player of the Week for the week ending November 24th as well as being selected as the Tops Sensational Player of the Game on two occasions.

During December, Stathopoulos recorded eight goals and added four assists for a total of 20 points in five games during December. He recorded season-high six points on 12/7/02 at Harrisburg. Chris was named the MISL Offensive Player of the Week for the week ending 12/8/02 as well as the Tops Sensational Player of the Game on two occasions.

MILESTONE WITHIN REACH:

Cleveland midfielder Giuliano Oliviero needs just one point to reach 700 career points. Oliviero entered the season with 659 career points and has scored 40 points thus far this season.

When Oliviero notches the one point for his 700th career point, it will mark the second milestone of the season for the forward. On November 22nd, Giuliano tallied his 200th career assist on his first of season-high three assists.

It will also mark the fourth milestone for Force players on the season. On October 18th, Force goalkeeper Jim Larkin saved his 1,000th career save on his 10th save of the game for the first milestone and then on December 15th forward Hector Marinaro added to his long list of records when he was the first player to score 1,200th career goal.

ON THE BLOCK:

The Cleveland Force will return to television this weekend, as the third installment of six Force games will be televised on WUAB TV-43 The Block.

Catch Al Pawlowski and Otto Orf as they call all the action from Kansas City, Missouri when the Cleveland will take on the Comets at 9:05 p.m.

STEAK AND SOCCER:

The Cleveland Force and Shula's Steak 2 is the official headquarters of all Force television games and will be showing the game this Saturday.

Fans will be able to join Force non-traveling players and staff to watch the game on the Big Screen as well as several other televisions located in the restaurant. Drink and appetizer specials will be available during each game.

POST-GAME HEADQUARTERS:

The Cleveland Hilton Garden Inn is the official post game party headquarters of the Cleveland Force. After every home game, Force players will be in attendance to talk with fans as well as sign autographs. The Hilton Garden Inn is located at 1100 Carnegie Avenue between the Convocation Center at CSU and Jacobs Field. The Force players will arrive 30-45 minutes after the conclusion of the game.
