
Force To Face Sockers in School Day Game

CLEVELAND, OHIO- The Cleveland Force will make its second trip to the West Coast this Thursday, December 5th when it travels to San Diego, California to face the San Diego Sockers in a Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL) game at the San Diego Sports Arena. The game, which is San Diego's School Day, is scheduled to start at 1:05 p.m.
The game can be heard live exclusively on the Internet at www.thesportsking.com. The Force Radio Network will be airing the game on a tape delay basis at 7:30 p.m. on WHK 1220 AM in Cleveland as well as WHKW 1440 AM in Warren.
The game with the Sockers will mark the third meeting of the season between the two franchises. Cleveland has won the previous two meetings, including a 15-4 victory on October 25th in San Diego.
Cleveland enters the School Day game after defeating the Kansas City Comets 21-15 last Saturday night. The Force is currently 2.5 games out of first place, trailing only the Philadelphia KiXX. Cleveland's overall record is 6-4 and 3-1 against its Western Conference rivals.
San Diego currently has a record of 6-8 overall and is 4.5 games out of first place in the MISL Western Conference trailing the Milwaukee Wave. The Sockers lost their December 1st game against Harrisburg Heat by a final score of 12-10 in overtime.
The Force will return to the friendly confines of the Convocation Center at Cleveland State University on Saturday, December 28th.
