Force To Battle Central Division

CLEVELAND, OHIO - The Cleveland Force will play a home and home series this weekend with the Milwaukee Wave. Cleveland will first travel to Milwaukee to face the Wave on Friday, October 31 at the U.S. Cellular Arena with kickoff slated for 8:00 p.m. The Force will then host Milwaukee on Saturday, November 1 as the team plays their Home Opener at 7:05 p.m., which is Holland Oil Magnetic Schedule Night.

Cleveland enters the game after defeating the San Diego Sockers 3-2 in overtime last Friday. The Force along with the Wave are the two remaining teams in the MISL with an undefeated record.

Milwaukee comes into the contest after not playing in over a week. The Wave (2-0) last played on October 18 when they defeated the Baltimore Blast 7-5 in their home opener at the U.S. Cellular Arena.

Last season, the Wave outscored the Force 69-36 in the five meetings. Milwaukee out shot Cleveland 187-112 while the Force tallied 84 saves to 44 for the Wave. On the power play, Cleveland went 2-7 (.289) while Milwaukee was 3-6 (.500).

Midfielder John Ball, who recorded six points, leads the Force returnees in scoring in the season series. Lee Edgerton tallied three points while midfielder Justin Evans netted two points in the series.

Of the group returning for Milwaukee, forward Greg Howes recorded 20 points in the season series. Forward Joe Reiniger tallied 17 points while forward Todd Dusosky finished with 16 points.

Friday night's game can be heard live on WKNR 850 AM and then Saturday's game will be broadcast live on WHK 1220 AM and WHKW 1440 AM in Warren.
