CLEVELAND, OHIO- Cleveland Force President and General Manager Paul Garofolo today announced that the Force has signed defender Ryan Hall to a contract for the remainder of the season and an option year. Per club policy, terms of the contracts were not disclosed.

"Ryan has earned this opportunity with his patience and persistence. Ryan reminds me of former MISL defender Glenn Carbonara when Glenn was a young player and if he develops like Glenn then we will have a solid defender for many years to come," stated Garofolo.

Hall, a 22-year old native of Great Falls, Virginia, will make his Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL) and Cleveland Force debut this weekend. Ryan played this past summer with the Syracuse Salty Dogs of the A-League along with Force teammate Adauto Neto and former Cleveland midfielder and current Salty Dogs General Manager, Assistant Coach and player Tommy Tanner.

This season for the Salty Dogs, Hall appeared in nine games and recorded one goal and added two assists for a total of four points. Ryan also recorded 648 minutes of action and three shots.

Hall is a graduate of Syracuse University with a degree in Information Science Technology. During his career for the Orangemen, Ryan was a four-year letter winner and tallied six goals and added seven assists for a total of 19 points. In addition, he was named to the Athletic Director's Honor Roll on three occasions and was tabbed as a Big East Conference Academic All-Star during his junior season.
