Force selects 2004-05 dance team coordinators

CLEVELAND, OHIO -Cleveland Force Vice President and Assistant General Manager Eric Dietrich announced today that the team has partnered with the Right Path Studio/Reel Cheer TV as the 2004-05 Cleveland Force Dance Team Coordinators. Hikia Dixon serves as the Executive Director and CEO for the Right Path Foundation.

"We are very pleased to partner with Right Path Studio/Reel Cheer TV and Hikia Dixon. They bring energy, passion and the leadership needed to make our new dance team a success," stated Dietrich.

Dixon, who is the wife of former Cleveland Browns defensive back Hanford Dixon, also serves as the CEO for CastingKidz, a talent company in the Greater Cleveland area. Hikia has worked with some of today's NFL and NBA Cheerleaders and Dancers.

In addition to her dance and cheerleading background, Dixon has been involved in the fashion world, as she was the owner and founder of her own boutique shoppe. Hikia has worked in many facets of the television business, as she is the creator and executive producer for Reel Cheer and Dance TV.

"We are thrilled to start our dance team. We believe it will continue to improve our fans game day experience and this also increases our promotional presence in the community," added Dietrich.

The Force will be holding tryouts for the 2004-05 Dance Team on Saturday and Sunday, July 24-25 at the Convocation Center at Cleveland State University. The tryouts will begin at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday with registration and will run until 5:00 p.m. The two-day tryouts will conclude on Sunday from 8:30-2:00 p.m.

The Dance Team finals will be held on Thursday, July 29 at Shooters on the West Bank of the Flats from 5:00-7:00 p.m. and is open to the public.
