Cleveland Force News Release
CLEVELAND, OHIO- Cleveland Force President and General Manager Paul Garofolo today announced that the Force has traded the rights to forwards Chad James and Nikola Vignjevic to the Kansas City Comets for two draft picks as well as an undisclosed financial consideration.
"This move allows us to have tremendous flexibility in the upcoming drafts, especially in this year's draft where we will have three of the top eight overall picks," commented Garofolo on the transaction.
The Force acquired the Comets first round draft pick in the 2002-03 Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL) Amateur Draft as well as Kansas City's first round draft pick in the 2003-04 MISL Amateur Draft.
