CLEVELAND, OHIO â 2004 Cleveland Force draft pick and Pittsburgh Riverhounds forward Said Ali helped lead the Riverhounds past the West Virginia Chaos in an United Soccer League Pro Soccer game on Friday.
The Riverhounds extended their winning streak to six games with there 2-0 victory over West Virginia. Ali scored one of the Riverhounds two goals when he beat the Chaos goalkeeper 16 minutes into the game. The win brought Pittsburgh's record to 9-2-1.
Ali, a rookie out of Robert Morris, has recorded seven goals and added two assists for a total of 16 points in 10 games. Said ranks among the leaders in the Pro Select League as he is fifth in points (18) and tied for third in goals scored (8).
The Riverhounds will return home for their next game game on Friday, July 2, when they will play the Cleveland Internationals (PDL).
