FLOWERY BRANCH, GA - The Georgia Force announced today the re-signings of WR/LB Derek Lee, lineman Adam Metts and lineman Shane Grice.

Lee, 6-5, 215 pounds, caught 127 passes for 1,427 yards and 26 touchdowns last year for the Force in 16 games played. A College Park native, he tallied 15.5 tackles, three interceptions, three pass defenses, one fumble recovery and a touchdown on defense. His 127 receptions set a new franchise-high in single-season receptions, surpassing his own mark of 113 set in 2005. For his performance during the regular season, Lee was named to the All-Arena first team as well as to the AFL All-Ironman team. Lee was named AFL Ironman of the Week in Week 11 after recording six catches for 104 yards and a touchdown on offense and added two tackles and an interception on defense. In the month of April, Lee registered 33 catches for 427 yards and eight touchdowns on offense and tallied seven tackles, two interceptions and one pass defense in five games, en route to being named AFL Ironman of the Month. In his two-year career, he has hauled in 240 receptions for 2,661 yards and 59 touchdowns on offense while compiling 38 tackles, five pass defenses, three fumble recoveries, three interceptions and one touchdown on defense.

Metts, a four-year AFL veteran, spent the previous two seasons with the Force. In 2006, the former University of North Carolina lineman tallied career-highs in tackles (14.5) and sacks (2) in addition to one fumble recovery. In his career, Metts has recorded 36 tackles, two sacks, one fumble recovery and two pass defenses.

Grice was acquired by the Force in a trade with Grand Rapids on February 8, 2006. In eight games with Georgia, he recorded one fumble recovery. In three seasons, he has registered 11 tackles, one sack and two fumble recoveries.
