Georgia Force News Release

FLOWERY BRANCH, GA - The Georgia Force have announced the signings of OL Bruce McClure and OL/DL Trevor Hutton.

McClure, 6-5, 305 pounds, is an eight-year AFL veteran who played in nine games for the Force in 2006 before suffering a hand injury. McClure has played three seasons for Georgia and ranks fourth on the club's all-time games played list with 39. He is a natural center that has the ability to play any position on the line. McClure brings with him the experience and leadership the Force are looking for on and off the field. In 1998 and 2000, McClure's offensive line units allowed the fewest sacks in the AFL (3-1998, 4-2000). McClure earned All-Big 12 honors as a center for the Oklahoma Sooners in 1996 and '97.

Hutton, 6-1, 295 pounds, joins the Force after being waived by the Atlanta Falcons prior to the start of training camp. Hutton brings one-year of AFL experience after spending the 2006 campaign with the Los Angeles Avengers, where he collared two tackles and two fumble recoveries in two games. He was originally signed by the Indianapolis Colts as an undrafted rookie free agent in 2004. He played in four games for the Colts in 2004 and was allocated to the Amsterdam Admirals of NFL Europe following the season. Hutton started 22 consecutive games in his two-year career at Utah State. He holds the school record with an 802-pound squat and is second with a 525-pound bench press.
