Force Announce Fan Advisory Board

Duluth, GA (August 10, 2011) - Having wrapped up a successful first season back in Georgia, the Force are seeking assistance in making 2012 even bigger. They are turning to the people they depend on the most - their dedicated fans. This offseason, the Force are inviting fans to take part in their first-ever Fan Advisory Board.
"We've said all along that our goal is to make Georgia Force football the premier sports entertainment option in the Southeast, and we mean it," said Force president Cory Howerton. "There's no one more qualified to help us get there than the fans who welcomed us back to Georgia with open arms this season."
Fans will be invited to apply to join the board this offseason by emailing the team directly at fans@georgiaforce.com. Applicants should include their name, hometown, phone number, the number of games they expect to attend in 2012, and why they feel they would be a fit for the board.
"The goal," said Howerton, "will be to include fans with a variety of perspectives. We'll have season ticket holders, and we'll also have moms and dads who bring the family out as a special treat once or twice a year. It should be a lot of fun."
Board members will be solicited for advice on all facets of the fan experience, from the pregame show to ticket plans to community involvement. There is no set number of slots open on the board. Applications will be accepted until the end of September.
