Force Announce Carter Krier as Assistant Coach/Goaltending Coach

FARGO, ND - The Fargo Force are excited to announce Carter Krier will be returning to Fargo as Assistant Coach & Goaltending Coach for the 2022-23 season

Krier has served as the Force Goaltending coach for the past two seasons. During his time in Fargo, he has helped lead the Force's netminders to great success earning 6 USHL Goaltender of the Week Accolades, all USHL Team Honors, the Ace Brandt MVP Award, and the second longest shutout streak ever recorded in USHL Playoffs. During the 2020-21 season he helped coach the team to a Western Conference Championship title and an appearance in the Clark Cup Finals.

Krier also owns Edge Goaltending, a company he started in 2021 helping develop goaltenders from across the country.

"Carter is an energetic, passionate coach with an undeniable drive to win," said Fargo Force President, Jon Kram. "He is the type of coach and person that we are proud to have represent our organization and we couldn't be happier to have him back in this new role. We are very excited about the coaching staff as a whole and can't wait to see what the 2022-23 season brings."

After graduating from East Grand Forks Senior High in 2018, Krier turned to a career in coaching. As a 19-year-old, he was the Director of Goaltending Development for East Grand Forks Hockey and an Assistant Coach/Goalie Coach for the Boys Varsity Team. In 2020 Krier was hired to be the Goaltending Coach for the Force, this will be his third season with the team.
