Chico Outlaws News Release

Tucson, Arizona - The Greg Cadaret era officially begins tonight at 7 p.m. and chicooutlaws.com is the place to tune your computer and listen to all the play-by-play action delivered by Joe Rauschenberger.

The Chico Outlaws and official broadcast partner Vista Net Inc. of Northern California have teamed up this season to broadcast all 76 regular season games at chicooutlaws.com.

The broadcast will begin with a pre-game show 20 minutes before the scheduled first pitch. Meaning, join us for tonight's broadcast at 6:40 PST. The broadcast link can be found under the "Radio/On-Air" section of the website. Internet Explorer is the optimal web browser for tuning in.

The Outlaws will be welcoming some new faces to the ballclub. Highlighting the six new additions is left-handed pitcher Jo Matumoto. Of Brazilian-Japanese hertiage, Matumoto brings a wealth of baseball experience to the Outlaws. The 38 year old will also serve as pitching coach.

As for your returning Outlaws, tonight's starting battery are familiar names. Right-hander Kevin Altman is getting the opening day start, and he'll be working with backstop Bryan Silverman. Altman finished the season last year with the Outlaws, making seven appearances all in relief. Silverman had an impressive rookie season, hitting 356 with 4 HR and 35 RBI in just 48 games.

So remember folks, tonight, 6:40 p.m. pre-game show right here at chicooutlaws.com. The Cadaret era begins! While you're at the website, check out our promotional calender and find out which days you'd like to purchase tickets to join in on all the action at the "Nett" this summer.
