
Fog Devils make first cuts

St. John's Fog Devils News Release
The St. John's Fog Devils announced that nine (9) players have been released from its Training Camp roster and that the club has traded one of its defencemen. As a result of these transactions, the Training Camp roster sits at 39 players.
The following is a list of players released from Training Camp:
Goaltenders Defencemen Forward
Harry Bartlett Murray Bavis Stephen Bailey
T.J Keeping Lee Davidson Nicolas Biniek
Brett Provost Alex Ducharme
Rodi Short
The club also traded defenceman Sebastien Bernier to the Chicoutimi Sagueneens for a 5th Round pick in the 2008 Midget Draft.
The Fog Devils continue its Training Camp this week and play its first preseason game this Friday, August 25 against the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles at the Gander Community Center.
The St. John's Fog Devils are a member of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League and are one of 59 member clubs of the Canadian Hockey League. The franchise begins its second season in September when it will host the PEI Rocket on the 15th.
