Fog Devils Announce Dream Shot Camp Selections

St. John's Fog Devils News Release
The St. John's Fog Devils announced tonight that 14 players from the Newfoundland Dream Camp have been selected to join the club's Selection Camp. The Newfoundland Dream Shot Camp was held at the Mount Pearl Glacier from Friday, August 12-Monday, August 15 and concluded tonight after Team White defeated Team Red by a 7-6 score in the Red/White Intersquad. The game attracted over 800 spectators.
Of the 14 players selected, eight (8) are forwards, five (5) are defencemen and one (1) is a goaltender.

The St. John's Fog Devils prepare to open its first ever Selection Camp on Tuesday, August 16 at the Mount Pearl Glacier. Including the Newfoundland Dream Shot invitees there will be 23 players from Newfoundland and Labrador participating to become first ever Fog Devils.
Training Camp runs through September 11th with one of the highlights being the Red/White Intersquad Game that takes place on August 19th starting at 8:00pm. All sessions of the Training Camp are open to the public.
Tomorrow the Fog Devils will release a revised Selection Camp roster as well as a new Selection Camp itinerary.
The club plays seven (7) preseason games, including four (4) games in Newfoundland - August 27th and 28th against the Halifax Mooseheads (in St. John's) and September 10th and 11th against the Ottawa 67's (in Corner Brook).
The St. John's Fog Devils are the newest member of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League and are one of 58 member clubs of the Canadian Hockey League. The franchise begins its inaugural season in September and plays its Home Opener, September 23rd against the Lewiston MAINEiacs.
