Fargo-Moorhead Jets News Release
Fargo (ND) Local teachers will be receiving much deserved recognition at the Fargo-Moorhead Jets versus Billings Bulls North American Hockey League game on Friday night at the John E. Carlson Coliseum at 7:05pm.
Over the past three home games (1/20, 1/27. 1/28), area students have been nominating their favorite teachers for the FM Jets first ever "Teacher Appreciation Night" by filling out an entry form.
In the past few days, the FM Jets have narrowed down the nominations and contacted nearly 40 teachers who have qualified. Each teacher at Friday's game will receive a certificate and will be brought on the ice during the first intermission to be recognized.
All teachers and students who participated in the program are receiving a free ticket to the game.
The FM Jets are the 2005 Borne Cup Champions and are in their third season as members of the North American Hockey League. The NAHL is the nation's largest Junior A hockey league and is now in its 30th year of operation.
Jets home games are played at the John E. Carlson Coliseum in Fargo, ND. All games are broadcast at 103.9 THE TRUCK and fmjets.com.
