Flyers split twin bill

The Yuma Scorpions scored four runs in the 5th inning to come back and beat the Flyers 4-2 at Goodwin Field and split the doubleheader.
The Flyers dropped back to 9-9 despite leading 2-0 after a Bret Levier homerun and a Rich Pohle RBI sacrifice fly.
SP Daniel Arizmendi pitched four scoreless innings, but lost his control in the 5th inning. RP Ezequiel Ruvalcaba came in and gave up a bases clearing three-run double to Maikel Jova.
RP Neil Hayes pitched two scoreless innings of relief to earn his 8th save behind SP Aaron Wilson.
The Flyers have Sunday off and will be in St. George on Monday at 7:00 p.m.
