Reed Dickert, Gary Gallegos and Dave Coggin combined to give up one run in a 3-1 win over the Chico Outlaws at Goodwin Field.

The Flyers used small ball to create three runs in the 6th inning and give Gary Gallegos his first win of 2007. Garry Templeton II led the 6th off with a bunt single and Rich Pohle followed with a bloop hit. Nick Singleton then hit Scott Goodman and Mark Okano with pitches to tie the game 1-1.

Bret Levier reached on a fielder's choice to give the Flyers the lead and Buddy Morales provided insurance with a sacrifice fly RBI.

Pohle had three hits and was the player of the game.

Reed Dickert struck out 10 and received a no-decision.

Dave Coggin worked a perfect 9th inning to earn his second save.

The Flyers will go for the sweep of the two-game series Tuesday at 7:05 p.m. The game will be broadcast live on orangecountyflyers.com.
