
Flyers open home schedule with dominant win

The Flyers opened Goodwin Field in 2007 by beating the St. George Roadrunners 13-4 in front of more than 2,000 fans.
Reed Dickert dazzled the opposition by striking out 13 and giving up just one hit through seven innings to earn his first win.
Aaron Davis drove in two runs in the 2nd inning to give the Flyers the lead for good.
The Flyers led 6-2 entering the 5th inning when Scott Goodman hit the first pitch he saw over the right field fence. Rich Pohle and Peanut Williams went back-to-back to cap the seven-run rally.
Every Orange County Flyers position player reached base during the game.
Brandon Thompson pitched two innings of relief for the Flyers and closed the second win of the season in style with a strikeout.
The Flyers will look to sweep the two-game series with the Roadrunners Thursday night. All the action can be heard on orangecountyflyers.com.
