The Orange County Flyers were swept out of Nettleton Stadium in dramatic fashion by the first place Chico Outlaws.
Scott Dragicevich drove in five runs including the walk-off game-winner against Dave Coggin in the bottom of the 9th inning. Chico's 12-11 win puts the Flyers at 14-10 and 3.5 games out of first.
For the second straight night, the Flyers staff blew a five-run lead. Chico used a four-run 8th inning to tie the game and then won it with a run in the 9th.
Dave Bacani scored the Flyers 11th run to put them up 11-6 in the 7th inning with a straight steal of home plate. Bacani also extanded his hitting streak to 13 games.
The game was marred by walks and wild pitches from nearly every pitcher. RP Jesse Oster pitched a clean 9th inning to get the win for Chico.
The Flyers will return to southern California for a two-game series at Blair Field. Monday's game will be at 7:05 p.m. on orange countyflyers.com.
