
Florida's Zanon Suspended One Game, Fined

PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL announced that Florida defenseman Brad Zanon has been suspended for one game and fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #135 against Reading on Nov. 18.
Zanon was assessed a major penalty and a Game Misconduct under Rule 42.5 - Boarding at 7:47 of the third period.
He is suspended and fined under Rule 29 - Supplemental Discipline.
Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.
Zanon will miss Florida's game against Reading (Nov. 20).
