
Florida Tropics SC Close out 2017-18 Season with Road Stops in Milwaukee and Kansas City

LAKELAND, Fla. -- The Florida Tropics SC will close out their 2017-18 season with visits Saturday, March 3 to Milwaukee and Sunday, March 4 to Kansas City.
The Tropics have already assured themselves of increasing their win total this season, after posting an 8-12 mark in their expansion season in 2016-17. Florida enters the weekend with a record of 10-10
Milwaukee has already wrapped up the Central Division title and is led by one of the league's best players in Ian Bennett, who has 47 goals and 13 assists this season. Kickoff is at 7:05 p.m. eastern Saturday.
Kansas City, which like Florida has been eliminated from post-season play, are led by Leo Gibson who has 27 goals and 26 assist for the Comets, 6-14. KC will play in Tacoma Friday night.
Ricardo Diegues continues to lead Florida's offense with 27 goals and 15 assists for 42 points. His 27 goals are a franchise and personal best for Diegues.

Florida's sister franchise, the Lakeland Tropics of the USL Premier Development League, will kick off the 2018 season at home Saturday, May 12 when they host Next Academy Palm Beach at Bryant Stadium. For more information, go to lakelandtropics.com.
