Jupiter Hammerheads News Release

JUPITER, FL - The Florida State League has officially released their schedule and the Palm Beach Cardinals will be opening at home on April 7, 2016. This will be a split series, in that the first two games will be played at Roger Dean Stadium against the Port Charlotte Stone Crabs and the conclusion of the series will be played over in Port Charlotte. This will be a rematch of last season's Florida State League's South Division Playoff round, where Port Charlotte won three games to one. The Port Charlotte Stone Crabs went on to win the Florida State League Championship against the North Division champions, the Daytona Tortugas.

The Jupiter Hammerheads will start the season in a split series as well, taking on the St. Lucie Mets. The Hammerheads will start the season on the road in St. Lucie for the first two games, but finish the series here at Roger Dean Stadium over the second weekend in April (9th & 10th). The teams that the Hammerheads and the Cardinals will face to compete for the Florida State League South Division will include the Fort Myers Miracle, Bradenton Marauders, Port Charlotte Stone Crabs, and the St. Lucie Mets.

The Florida State North League Division will feature six competitive teams as well. The North Division consists of the Clearwater Threshers, Brevard County Manatees, Dunedin Blue Jays, Lakeland Flying Tigers, Tampa Yankees, and the Daytona Tortugas.
