The Florida State League named today the Player and Pitcher of the Week for the period July 7 - July 13, 2014.
The Player of the Week was Brevard County Manatees Outfielder Victor Roache. He played in six (6) games and got eight (8) hits in 21 plate appearances for a .381 Batting Average. His hits included three (3) homeruns and one (1) double. He had three (3) RBI's and scored three (3) times. His OBP was .435 and his slugging average was .857. This is his second year in professional baseball and he resides in Tampa, FL.
The Pitcher of the Week was Tampa Yankees Lefthander Miguel Sulbaran. He started one (1) game and in seven innings pitched recorded a 0.00 ERA. He allowed three (3) hits and struck out eight (8) batters. Miguel is in his third year of professional baseball and he resides in Ciudad Ojeda Zulia, VZ.
