Florida State League Names Pitcher & Player of the Week

The Florida State League named today the Player and Pitcher of the Week for the period June 2 - June 8, 2014.
The Player of the Week was Dunedin Blue Jays Infielder K.C. Hobson. He played in seven (7) games and had 11 hits in 26 plate appearances for a .423 batting average. His hits included two (2) homeruns and three (3) doubles. He had nine (9) RBI's and scored four (4) runs. His OBP was .500 and his slugging average was .769. K.C. is in his fifth year of professional baseball and he was born in Bakersfield, CA.
The Pitcher of the Week was St. Lucie Mets Right-hander Gabriel Ynoa. He started one (1) game, recorded a win with a 0.00 ERA. In seven (7) innings pitched he allowed four (4) hits and struck out 11 batters and allowed no walks. Gabriel is in his fifth year of professional baseball and resides in La Vega, DR.
